Social responsibility with Charity Lifeline

One way we achieve this is by working closely with Charity Lifeline, a community interest company in Cambridgeshire.

As a social enterprise Charity Lifeline aims to make profits to support small community and voluntary groups, financially vulnerable people and the environment in the Cambridgeshire area.

It generates income by selling unwanted and new goods, mainly online, and using the profits to:

Re-use, re-configure, re-locate or re-furbish existing furniture

Source One believes in acting socially and environmentally responsibly throughout your project. So prior to disposal of furniture through Charity Lifeline we will also have considered the following:

• Can the existing furniture be re-used or re-configured to meet your needs rather than ripping out and replacing perfectly good furniture
• Looked for alternative ways and locations to use the existing furniture if it’s not suitable in the project
• Can existing office chairs and seating be refurbished to make them as good as new and fit with the new look. Our seating refurbishment includes replacing worn covers, updating the padding and upholstery and replacing broken parts such as the wheels or armrests.

Of course, not only will this look great it will also save you a lot of money.
