The team at KWL Logistics are a well-established transport and logistics company based minutes from the Port of Felixstowe. Their move into a new office wasn’t just a change of address, it was a chance to reset. A tired, outdated space was holding the team back, and KWL needed a workplace that felt brighter, sharper and more in tune with the pace of modern logistics.
When Managing Director Jason Flower approached Source One Consulting, the goal was clear: a brighter, more modern and more motivating environment for the team, complete with a private boardroom, smarter open-plan layout and relaxed breakout spaces.

Balancing Business and Build
From the very first walk-through, the vision was clear: keep it practical, keep it professional, and make the space work harder for the people using it every day.
From day one, Jason’s brief was focused and practical: a purpose-built boardroom, a smarter open-plan layout, and relaxed breakout spaces for staff to collaborate and unwind.
The works progressed smoothly across both floors of the building, despite the usual curveballs that come with any refurbishment. As Jason put it:

The only notable scheduling hurdle came from Italian furniture manufacturers shutting down for their annual summer break… but with careful coordination between our design, logistics and installation teams, the programme stayed on track.
