Reception Area Refurbishment
Our previous collaboration with Fastbolt Distributors in Milton Keynes paved the way for an exciting new venture when they approached us for a revamp of their reception area.
The project encompassed a range of enhancements, including new flooring, the restoration of stair balustrades, and the repair and decoration of walls and woodwork. Delve into the details of this transformative project below.

Outstanding performance opens doors to new opportunities
Our previous project for Fastbolt Distributors was a fit out of their office breakout space and they were so pleased with the outcome they asked us to look at their reception area.
The existing reception was beginning to look tired, with flaking paint to the balustrades, marked door frames, cracks to the walls and oil-stained carpet tiles… it was definitely time for a refresh throughout the area.
Works completed:
- Full restoration and decoration to balustrades, taking it from solid red to the company colours of red and navy.
- Decoration to walls, door frames, skirtings and doors. We have re-decorated skirtings and door frames in white, which makes the reception look much bigger than before, with the red frames and skirtings.
- Repairs to cracks in walls and re-skim where required.
- Removal of existing flooring in reception, first floor landing, stairwell and small corridor.
- Installation of new Wood FX vinyl flooring to main reception area, new entrance matting to front door, new carpet tiles to stairwell, first floor landing and small corridor, plus new nosings for stairs.
At the time of posting we are waiting for the delivery of some new soft seating to complete this area – watch this space!
