New Office Fit Out in Crewe
Cymphony were looking to relocate to new office space in Crewe, East Cheshire, and appointed Source One to undertake the office design, fit out and the relocation of the their team.
The new workspace is set over 2 floors and included installation of partitioning, 122 workstations, meeting rooms, offices and breakout space.
We began planning the project with the Cymphony team pre-Covid but it was put on hold until a return to the office was approaching… we think the final result was worth the wait.

A flexible fit out project to match the times!
As is often said, these are unusual times, and this fit out certainly wasnt quite what we expected when we began talking to Cymphony in early 2020. Little did we know when sitting down with their team to discuss the new office that a few weeks later everyone would be working at home.
After the inevitable pandemic delay, Cymphony were keen to get things moving as things began opening up again, and so after a number of Zoom meetings office designs, layouts, colour schemes and work scheduled were agreed… a 2 week fit out.
2 week scheduled delivered
Within one week, we had the new walls and doorways built ready for decoration, creating 4 new meeting rooms on Ground Floor. On the First Floor, we fitted 2 new doorways to separate offices and Breakout spaces for privacy and noise reduction.
Week 2 began and we hit the ground running, decorating all the new walls and doorways, as well as beginning the furniture installation of 122 workstations, two breakout areas and furniture in the 4 meeting rooms.
Project works included
All the work was completed on time and on budget, including:
- Office design and space planning
- Partitioning to create meeting rooms
- Installation of doors to separate office space and breakout area
- Lighting alterations
- Furniture throughout
- Project management
Old office clearance
At the end of Week 2, we undertook the complete clearance and dilapidation of the old office space. This included transferring any belongings or furniture items that they wish to use in the new office.
