Cogent Technology set us the task of redesigning their boardroom and it led to the highest spec boardroom table Source One have produced to date!
Standing at a length of 5.2m by a boat-shaped width of 2m, complete with a 10cm thick top, this concrete effect table seats 14 people. It was even fitted with air chargers for each person, flip-top hidden sockets and LED lighting underneath the table.

Staggered top with LED lighting
The table sits on 4 double I-frame legs, which were custom-fit to sit tightly to the floor box, hiding the minimal cables for power to the table.
Due to its size and weight, the table was fitted in two parts, with inner supporting joists running the whole way across, used to strengthen the table and also for cable management within.
The table top had a staggered finish to allow users to sit at the table comfortably without feeling the chunkiness of the table right by their lap! To make it a true statement piece, colour-changing LED lights fitted to the staggered table top, controlled via remote control.

Custom-built sofas and operator chairs
To maximise seating within the boardroom, we also designed and installed custom-built two-seater sofa’s for the perimeter walls. These sofa’s have their own push-release storage drawers underneath, with matching concrete-effect fronts. At the back of the boardroom, we also supplied a white credenza unit, ensuring there is enough storage in this area.
Finally, we also supplied all of the comfortable and stylish operator chairs.
