Making a small office space work

Previously, the office team struggled to utilise the office space, with very small desks and minimal desk top storage. It was also mentioned that they occasionally suffered with back ache from their chairs, which were unsuitable to their working environment.

Chloe worked with the client to understand how the space was used, and to come up with an effective layout with built in workstations. As the room was not very big, we recommended a bespoke furniture solution with brand new, comfortable operator chairs.

Blending new and old furnishings

As you can see in the images, we installed larger desks that provided more workspace. In addition, we built a new desk top cupboard and pigeonhole storage system.

The new bespoke workstations were finished in maple to match the existing wall mounted cabinets to give a consistent, integrated look and feel – like it had always been there rather than a mix of new and old!
