An office rises from the ashes…

Challs International offices in Hadleigh was devastated by fire in 2014. The Challs Management turned to Source One to work on the high profile project to rebuild the offices with a brief to create an office for the future.

Source One were commissioned, after recommendation to MD Graham Burchell, to provide the full interiors fit out of the offices and visitor centre at the newly rebuilt warehouse site.

As always the process began with detailed discussion about what Graham and his team wanted to achieve, then with input from us, our interior designers and the space planning team we created 3D designs to bring it to life.

Office design to installation

After consultation, the final layout was optimised and we then worked with Challs on selecting everything from flooring and specific furniture to fabrics and finishes to create the look and feel that we have today.

Part of the process included working alongside a flooring manufacturer to create a bespoke design for the flooring in the building: a mixture of tiles and specialist coverings.

The project for both the new offices and the visitor centre were handled alongside each other to ensure both premises were ready for ‘Opening Day’ Once the designs were finalised, Source One managed the fit out of both buildings utilizing our experienced trades and fitting teams.
