When one of Source One’s Suffolk based customers needed to increase their filing and storage capacity within their existing office space we knew we had to look for a more versatile and flexible solution to maximise the available space.
The solution was a Mobile Storage and Filing System which provided multiple shelving units that can all be accessed from just one aisle (as opposed to multiple aisles for static storage shelves). The installed system actually increased the filing capacity by between 75 and 90% in the same space as the previous storage.
Fast, Efficient, Weekend Installation
Installing a new filing system can be quite a disruptive process to a busy office environment…. as files have to be cleared and old shelving removed, new system installed and then all the files have to be replaced. So to minimise the impact on our clients business we completed the whole project over 1 weekend, so that come Monday morning they could simply carry on as normal – albeit with a much better and bigger filing system.
We have installed this Wallspace Storage system in the meeting room at EMC Design in Bedford. Not only is it a great way to hide utilities including meters and telephony, it also adds useful office storage space to what would normally be considered unusable office space. Not forgetting, of course, that it looks rather nice.

We like a challenge and so when EMC Design wanted to maximise the office space in their Grade II Listed Building in Bedfordshire we were more than happy.
After a detailed design and planning process that including getting all the necessary Listed Building Consents, we installed stylish glass walls and partitioning to create a private office and separate meeting room. With the addition of a bespoke wall-space storage unit we were able to maximise the storage space in the office, while new decor and flooring throughout gave it a light open and airy feel.
